Wrote a riff while I had my headphones on... It only gets an ok in my book, so unless attaching a drum beat to it changes it's timing and it sounds nice, I'll ditch it. I'll play it next time for y'all.

That soft riff that Andromeda likes got a workover and a bit of addition. Song could definitely come out of that - it speaks to me of bottled up anger. It's just guitar atm (the bass Shooty laid down in our previous session's fine, as it's quite a minimal song), as I don't think Nap's lyrics are up to the song just yet - tho we'll refer to it as "Cherry Tree" from hereon in.

Otherwise, we fucked around with Nap's mp3s - played a bit of Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, Lithium (both easy for me to cover at least) amongst others.

All went home early - not as productive as I'd have liked! I suggest that when jamming/writing Andromeda uses a laptop to write drum sequences, as then better timing and more intricate techniques can be used.

I did think it sounded far too punky for what we were wanting to sound like. Perhaps we could donate it to a punk band!
